Hardware Support Engineer
Based in Malta and reporting to the Head of Technical Solutions, the Hardware Support Engineer role requires an ability to install, configure and support computer systems, document troubleshooting and problem resolution measures. The role also entails the provision of training to customers.
The preferred candidate must possess at least an MQF (Malta Qualification Framework) Level 4 Diploma in IT or equivalent, with a minimum of 3 years’ work experience as a Hardware Support Engineer specializing in servers and storage area networks. Experience on IBM or Lenovo equipment will also be considered an asset. The chosen candidate must be available for 24 x 7 standby support on a roster basis. The role requires excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills, the ability to work in a dynamic team and the motivation to deliver to high standards. A valid driving license is essential.
